Report an error

Corrections are handled separately from story tips. An editor checks every report against the source. Significant errors are fixed with a dated correction note at the end of the page; small fixes like spelling are made quietly. Our corrections policy

  1. You report itTell us what's wrong and what's right, ideally with a source.
  2. An editor reviews itThey check the source and the original reporting.
  3. We decide and tell youCorrected, not corrected, or already handled, with a reason.
